Prisma Colour acquires two new businesses in U.K.

<p></p><p><i><b><u><small></small></u></b></i></p><p> </p><p>GLOSSOP, England—Prisma Colour, an England-based supplier of coloring solutions to the rubber and silicone industries, has completed its acquisition of two businesses, Emsar Polymers and Adam Polymer.</p> <p>Prisma said the strategic acquisition “brings together three innovative companies with complementary capabilities, product portfolios and operations”.</p> <p>Cheshire-based Emsar Polymers, a supplier of additive masterbatches, will retain its brand and trading name, while Bredbury-based Adam Polymer, a rubber chemical manufacturer and supplier, will take on a new identity as Prisma Additives, retaining all existing staff.</p> <p>“As a company with active sales to over 40 countries we are always looking to add to our already diverse product offering,” said Mark Wood, Prisma Colour sales director.</p> <p>“The two recent acquisitions allow us to offer new products through our existing distribution networks, resulting in a stronger Prisma Colour, which is well positioned to excel in an evolving global marketplace.”</p> <p>Following the completion of the acquisitions, Prisma has installed a 2,000 ton-per-year mixing and compounding line at its Stalybridge site, which will be dedicated to the manufacturing of additive masterbatch.</p> <p></p><i><b><u><small></small></u></b></i><br><p></p><br><br><br><br><p></p>
